Freedom is an important part of living a meaningful life. Without it, we are reduced to a form of slavery. With it, we are given wings to fly. Of course there are different types of freedom, and what we speak of is a Democratic freedom. One where you and I make a difference to how things are. Where you and I can make laws, you and I can sit in a jury of thousands, where you and I can enforce the laws so far as they allow. Such a system is known as a Democracy.
