The book launch on the 04/04/2024 was well attended and people from all walks of life were present. Great support was demonstrated by the people present for both Tim Damianidis and the book Democracy: Demokratia. The first speaker for the evening Jerry Roberts spoke of parallels found in dystopian literature and our world today. He laid a premise for a nation in distress. Mr Roberts is a journalist for the Light newspaper and a former journalist for The West Australian newspaper. Next, we heard from Prof. Augusto Zimmermann that the system is led by Oligarchical rule and how the politicians are by far not on the side of the people. Then there was a speech from Fr Kosmas, detailing how once were encouraged by the government to read stories like Animal Farm, Brave New Worls and 1984. To help us distinguish totalitarian and dystopian conditions when or if they were to present themselves. Yet in this generation the children are left without a direction.

Finally, Tim Damianidis spoke about the book Democracy: Demokratia. The room listened with eagerness as he described a reason to explore Democracy, defined it and then gave other details to assist those that wanted to explore it further. The crowd was pleased with the outcome, there was a vibrant atmosphere and everyone showed love and respect for each other.

The event was recorded by several media outlets, but luckily Andrzej Borzyskowski brought his recording equipment by good fortune and foresight. It is the only recording we have access to. For those interested in listening to the speeches we are lucky to have recorded this historic moment.

A special thanks to Spiro Damianidis for providing the technical knowhow to help setup this site and many technologies behind the scenes. Also, everyone of you are special, you are co-heirs to Christ.
